The Model 2000 Hydraulic Earth Pressure Cell is fluid filled and connected to any of the series 1000 diaphragm piezometers, which act as the pressure transducer (see model 1100 and 1200 for details). The cells are suitable for measurement of total pressure against walls and in embankments, fills and any other earthen mass. The Model 2050 is similar to the 2000 but is fitted with a post stressing pinch tube, which allows recoupling of the cell to concrete after curing.
