MENA Water offer a range of packaged Water Treatment Plants (WTP) to treat stream, river, dam, pond and other water sources to a safe potable (drinking) water standard. The use of packaged based technology enables the use of much more economical and faster builds treatment systems compared to conventional water treatment plants.

Typically the systems are fabricated as containerised units delivered wired and piped, to reduce installation time. This standardisation reduces manufacturing time and build costs.

The MENA-Water potable water package plant SafeDrink is designed as pre-engineered complete system for water purification. The technology combines treatment of settling, sand filtration and disinfection for high effluent quality. Options for membrane filtration and desalination are also provided.
With a well-proven and compact design, the SafeDrink package plant achieves a reliable system operation within smallest footprint area and fast realisation time. Inside the treatment plant, water flows by gravity which ensures highest efficiency with lowest energy consumption.
All main components of the plant are pre-assembled in a robust steel frame container for easy transportation, installation and accessibility. All water tanks inside the unit are fabricated in stainless steel.
MENA-Water package plants are ideal where requirements call for high quality drinking water, economical treatment, rapid availability in an adaptable and modular concept, and minimum construction works on site. Due to the automatic operation and ability to be remote monitored, the required operation and maintenance activities are kept to a minimum.
Durability, life cycle and high quality of the package plant is ensured by careful consideration of the components and materials used.
All components are sourced from global suppliers with a strong presence throughout Australasia. Engineering, fabrication and assembly is carried out in the MENA Water factories based on German standards.
Stainless steel material is used for the process treatment tanks and piping to provide a long service life. The equipment, instrumentation and control systems are housed in an isolated and ventilated compartment within the container. Only external pumps and interconnection piping need to be fixed on site after placing the container on prepared foundation.
