Hydros - Model Lead -Connection Pipelines
hydros LEAD: replacement of lead connection pipes. HydrosLEAD technology, also described as a wind-up process supported by internal pressure, is used for the trenchless replacement of lead or or flexible plastics mains connections, preferably by PE pipelines. As a rule, a pit is only required at the point where the house connection meets the mains, and if necessary a further pit in front of the basement wall.
A special retraction belt developed for this purpose creates form-fit and a friction connection between the lead pipeline and the pulling device. Through the continuous transfer of energy along the length of the section to be replaced, the lead pipes can be extracted from the earth using axial traction force. Even socket joints and other repair areas (e.g. material transition on PE) do not impact the exchange process.
A further hydraulic pulling device has been specially developed for this. The use of this keyhole-technology unit guarantees particular economic success, as the installation time is considerably reduced and only a very small excavation pit is required for the mains pipeline.
