IAC - Belt, Apron and Vibratory Feeders

These specialized conveyors control discharge from the bin or silo by tapering the outlet in the horizontal and vertical planes. To ensure the flow of non-free-flowing solids along the front bin wall, a sloping striker plate at the front of the hopper is typical. Particles are placed into motion from their static stored state through the motion of the belt or vibratory feeder. Provisions should be made for field adjustment of the space between the skirt and the feeder to provide uniform flow along the entire length and to prevent escape of particles and dust.
