Icam - Cartridge Filter
The cartridge filter retains the operation versatility of the bag filter and in part solves the problems of bulk often associated with bag filters, with some limitations:
- Treatment of viscous or sticky dusts
- High inlet dust concentrations
- Operating temperature range below the one of the bag filter
The filter unit is a rectangular section container in which, in the standard executions, are enclosed from 4 to 18 vertical cartridge filters, regularly disposed. Given the multiplicity of the supply of cartridges, fabric type, height, diameter, number of folds and performances, special versions are much more frequent than in the case of bag filters in order to meet the demand for different issues, optimizing the dimensions and the performance of the systems. The dust discharge can be made by a screw, complete with a rotary valve, or within bins equipped with quick release system and dust discharge device.
