Clart - Model HPV4 -In Vitro Diagnostics
CLART® HPV4 offers full screening 35 genotypes: High Risk (16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68A-68B), Probable High Risk (26, 53, 73, 82) and Low risk (6, 11, 40, 42, 43, 44, 54, 61, 62, 71, 70, 72, 81, 83, 84, 85, 89).
It uses multiplex PCR and subsequent visualization in low density arrays, using CLART® technology.
CLART® HPV Line products are capable of detecting both high and low risk Papilloma virus genotypes in a single assay. This classification is determined by the innate ability of viruses considered high risk to cause cervical cancer, as well as their involvement in other types of cancer (pharyngeal, anal…).
With CLART® HPV Line, it is also possible to detect multiple infections in a single sample, which facilitates the long-term follow-up of patients. The genotyping of the human papillomavirus makes it possible to follow up the infection in the patient, as well as to carry out epidemiological studies in those populations where vaccination has been implemented in girls.
