Inconel 718 Tube (UNS N07718/ W. Nr. 2.4668) is a Nickel-Chromium alloy being precipitation hardenable and having high creep-rupture strength at high temperatures to about 700°C (1290°F). Alloy 718 Tube has good mechanical strength in comparison to Inconel X-750 Tubes and higher mechanical properties at lower temperatures than Nimonic 90 Tubes and Inconel X-750 Tubing. Alloy 718 Tubing is readily fabricated and may be welded in either the annealed or precipitation (age) hardened condition.
