The INCUS Portable Solar Spectrophotometer, created through the collaboration of ZEPREN Solutions and Aragon Photonics, is designed for precise measurement of optical properties in parabolic trough CSP plants. It enables assessment of outer tube transmittance and inner tube absorbance within solar fields, per ISO9050 and ASTM-G173 standards. The robust design features an ergonomic handle, allowing versatile positioning, and safeguards against damage through advanced mechanical and electronic configuration. With capability for 400+ measurements per battery charge and GPS data logging, it supports Operation and Maintenance activities like soiling ratio control, aiding in optimal cleaning scheduling. Measuring across 14 wavelengths (365-1950 nm), it maintains high accuracy with minimal ambient interference. The spectrophotometer includes features like tagged measurements storage, self-calibration via an accessory pattern mirror, and proprietary software for data visualization and preservation. INCUS is a receiver tube solar spectrophotometer that allows the measuring of the receiver tube optical properties in the solar field of a parabolic trough CSP plant. Specifically, it allows you to measure outer tube transmittance and inner tube absorbance by applying the ISO9050 and ASTM-G173 standards. INCUS design is ergonomic and robust: with a handle on its upper side allowing to be used on any position; and with a mechanical and electronical configuration to minimize damages. It takes more than 400 measurements with a single battery charge and gives you GPS localization data store.
INCUS helps O&M activities such as the control of the decrease of the soiling ratio to determine the cleaning cycles.
