Specifically designed with the ethanol refining process in mind, our counterflow towers are available in a variety of structural and fill media combinations to meet your water quality and performance requirements. The structural framework for these towers can be provided in Douglas-Fir, pultruded fiberglass, or a combination of a fiberglass fan deck with a Douglas-Fir structure. Because the ethanol processing environment is subject to excessive airborne particulates, CTD offers an off-set type film fill which provides the desired high thermal performance, yet is more forgiving when it comes to debris in the circulating water system.
