Ecostar - Industrial Shredder Machines
The Ecostar screens optimize the performance of industrial shredders, transforming the processing line into a more effective, flexible, and efficient system.
Thanks to SMART HOPPER, the special Ecostar loading hopper, the Hextra mobile screener becomes a screening system with unsurpassed flexibility. The sliding hopper is equipped with a dosing screw and enables operation in loop with all shredders: the material enters a processing circle consisting of a shredder and screen and exits only when its fractions reach the established size.
Both the Hexact stationary screen and the Hextra mobile screener are placed in recycling lines after the shredder to separate the ground material into its different fractions. This makes it possible to take advantage of multiple fractions of the recyclable waste processed. Hextra can also be equipped with diesel or electric drives, which means that it can either operate outdoors or indoors where zero harmful emissions are required.
Both the Hexact stationary screen and the Hextra mobile screener can be placed before the shredder in the case of mixed materials to be separated before the shredding process. An example is the processing of C&D (Construction and Demolition) or C&I (Commercial and Industrial), where the screen separates the fraction with commercial value from waste inert to prevent it from mixing during the shredding phase. This prevents contamination of the valuable material and reduces wear on the shredder.
In this scenario, either the stationary Hexact or the mobile Hextra screener is positioned between two shredders to process large quantities of material with the need to remove any dirt likely to produce excessive wear from the shredded material before the secondary shredder; size the clean and finished material (RDF -refuse derived fuel- or Woodchips) as an intermediate fraction; send clean and larger fractions to the secondary shredder. The efficiency of Ecostar screens enables the use of a less powerful secondary shredder.
It enable users to load the material just once with considerable savings on the cost of the loading equipment work cycles.
The loop system ensures that the material leaves the screen only when the desired size is reached.
The process eliminates the need for a secondary shredder with remarkable savings on investment and maintenance costs.
