The NILU air sampling filter holder system is designed for sampling of particles and gaseous compounds on impregnated filters in air pollution measurements. We have both in-line filter holder and open-face filter holder. For both in-line and open-face air filter holder system it is possible to build several successive stages of filters for air sampling for the purpose of air pollution measurement and monitoring.

Filters with different pore size or impregnating agents can be used. The filter holders are produced by injection moulding of polycarbonate.

The filter holder system may be connected to the air flow in two ways. The front of Inlet inline and the end of Outlet section have

a: tapered centerholes and
b: outside threads R 1/4’’.

The filter holders are designed for filters with 47 mm diametres and the exposed area has a diameter of 40 mm.

An optional backing which exposes an area with diametre 25 mm is also available. Options are also protection covers and gasket.
