Voltra - Model DRH 4 -Instantaneous High Flow Rate Oil / Water Separation

This oil leak/spill recovery and management system is designed to adapt to all oil filled transformers (up to 765 kV) and releases hydrocarbon-free water back to the environment.
The DRH4 Smart System features early stage oil-leak/spill detection with remote monitoring and alerts. This critical data, re: quantity and rate of insulating oil loss allows for improved maintenance of high-voltage transformers, reducing the risk of failures and other associated costs.

Assembly
Assembly of all components is done in-house at the Voltra factory
Starting with: placement of the components on the adjustable platform:
- the filter
- the oil tank
- the treatment tank
- and the control panel
Followed by:
- hydraulic connections
- electrical connections
Once the assembly is complete, the DRH4 is ready for it’s verification and quality control inspection before being delivered.
Following the site assessment, the appropriate equipment and options according to the specific requirements shall be determined. The next step is to coordinate the installation using all gathered information and plans.
Installation of the DRH4 can be conducted by the customer, following specific guidelines with supervision from Voltra technology, unless or otherwise, a legal agreement is made between the two parties.
Once manufactured, the DRH4 is put through rigorous quality control testing prior to delivery. This includes functional verification and sealing of the tanks.
The DRH4 is equipped with a treatment tank for instant separation of high-volume liquids. The system responds to major oil leaks even during heavy rainfall.
As functional testing is to operate and check all electrical components and to detect any abnormality in the system, the treatment tank is exposed to the maximum flow of water and oil in order to ensure that all requirements are met. For example, the DRH4-V2 is rated to process 40 liters per minute.
