One man – one vision

Horst Groninger believes in what he does. He founded his company on April 11, 1980. With his groundbreaking invention of the rotary piston pump without seals in his luggage he traveled he travelled all over Europe to convince customers that his innovation was essential for their business. He achieved more than that: he laid the foundation for the company`s subsequent leadership in the market for processing of pre-sterilized syringes.

Eva Groninger not only manages the financial accounting of the company but also shows her creative side. The architecture of the groninger buildings – inside and outside – shows her influence. In the 1980s the Crailsheim site was continuously extended before the large new buildings, an assembly building and an administration building, were completed in 1992. Revenue and employees are increasing continuously since.

groninger goes USA

In 1997 groninger crossed the Atlantic and established a branch in the USA – a logical consequence of the increasing number of customers in North America. In 2012 groninger moved into their newly build 25.000 square feet state of the art subsidiary in Charlotte, North Carolina.

One family, one company

Horst Groninger brought his two sons, Volker and Jens, into the company. Volker Groninger was appointed technical managing director while his brother Jens Groninger took over as business managing director. The two generations now determine the future of the company. In a time in which company succession is often not regulated early enough, Horst Groninger has set a positive course for employees, customers and partners: groninger is and will remain an independent family owned company.

New concepts for pharma and cosmetics

Domestically and internationally innovative ideas and concepts keep the pharmaceutical and the cosmetics machine division of the company growing. At the cosmetic division in Schnelldorf, the company successfully transfers the groninger philosophy to the industry requirements.

The path continues to lead upwards

Since its founding groninger`s growth has been consistent and healthy. In 2003 the new manufacturing center and the new administration building were completed. The Schnelldorf location expanded in 2006 with two assembly buildings and in 2010 a large assembly building was completed in Crailsheim. To date groninger has delivered more than 7500 machines. 900 employees generate over 100 million Euros annually. groninger never stands still and continues to research advanced designs and develops innovative technologies.
