ISEP - Continuous Ion Exchange Separations

Employ a single multiport rotating distributor and from 10-30 resin cells used to provide cost-effective continuous ionic separations by sequentially subjecting each cell to the entire sorption cycle in a counter-current operation. Calgon Carbon"s Engineered Solutions group has patented the I SEP Continuous Separator to perform ion exchange separations using countercurrent processing. The ISEP and CSEP5 (chromatographic separator) systems are currently used at over 300 installations worldwide in more than 40 applications including GMP processes.
