JENZ Chippertruck - Self-propelled Chipper
Mounted on a three-axle truck chassis, the Chippertruck convinces with its mobility. The drive is provided by the truck engine. An additional motor is not used in the self-driven unit. Thanks to its high flexibility, the chipper can be used economically for small jobs at private customers as well as for large-scale operations in heating plants. The JENZ Chippertruck series HEM 583 and HEM 593 differ in their intake widths of 1.2 m and 1.4 m and resulting throughput rates. Different cab variants, state-of-the-art control elements and well thought-out maintenance concepts ensure maximum ergonomics and user-friendliness.
Cobra Cabin
- One workplace: thanks to the rotating driver's cab, there is only one place for driving and chipping, and no need to switch between workplaces
- Optimal overview: Floor-to-ceiling glazing elements as well as a cabin swivelling range of up to 160 degrees provide an optimal view of the work area

TRUCK CABIN WITH GLAZING SUITABLE FOR MOWING
- No need to get out: two places for driving and chipping. To change from driving to chipping mode, the driver moves to the rear operator seat
- Overview and storage space: an enlarged rear window and an additional side window provide a view of the work area. Extensive storage space thanks to the truck-sized cab

Control System
The new easy2advanced machine control system is a comprehensive update of the familiar easy2 control system. It supports the driver with active feedback, enables flexible, user-orientated settings and ensures a reliable crop flow. This allows the machine to be used even more productively and efficiently.
D1.2 drum
Whether fine or coarse chips, the robust D1.2 drum convinces with outstanding chip quality. The regrindable blades enable maximum economy and operational reliability. In addition, the high inertia of the D1.2 ensures very smooth running. This not only protects the drive train, but also leads to improved chip quality.
CFA Draw-In control system
The CFA and CFA2 intake controls automatically adjust the intake speed to ensure that the chipper is utilised evenly and in a way that is gentle on the machine, and that the wood chips are of optimum quality. CFA adjusts the infeed speed depending on the rotor speed. CFA2 adjusts the infeed speed depending on the opening angle of the upper roller.
Efficient screening technology
The innovative screen baskets reliably prevent excessive lengths with a minimum of fine particles. This is particularly noticeable in the processing of cut shrubbery, where the wood is often drawn in crosswise.

A special cooler was developed for the chipping application. Overlapping water and charge air coolers with coarse, continuous fins ensure low maintenance and achieve particularly good cooling performance, even under special chipping conditions.
