Jersey Crusher - Particle-izer

The particle-izer utilizes multiple tool steel, carbide tipped and stainless steel cutting tools mounted in specifically shaped tool holders, which are arranged to form a geometrical pattern around the circumference of the rotor assembly to efficiently utilize the cutting energy. The efficiency of the cutting action reduces temperature rise within the material being processed.

D2 hardened bed knives are positioned to take advantage of the material flow being processed through the unit.

Various size heavy gauge carbon steel and stainless steel perforated screens are available for sizing classification of material being reduced.

Available in carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, and abrasion resistant and other materials of construction. All welded housing is available for easy clean designs.

Unit sizes available to meet most application requirements. Model sizes available are,10″, 15″, 22″, 30″ & 48″. Special configurations will be considered.

Motor sizes to suit application requirements from 5 hp to 75 hp. Because of the rotor configuration, the motor horsepower requirements can be in some cases ¼ that of conventional knife cutters.

Rotor speeds are selected to suit application requirements from 75 to 3000 rpm.
