Rigid wedge wires form the bowed surface, over which feed slurries trickle down. During this process, a layer of liquid is sliced off with fine particles, passing through the slots between wedge wires.
Sieve bend screens are ideal for sizing and water removal applications. As they are widely used in treatment plants for paper and pulp, breweries, and food processing. In addition to wedge wires, customers can also choose other wire profiles (such as profile wires or shaped wires ) including round, square, and flat steel bars. Wedge wires are welded to their support rods at each point of contact for strength and corrosion resistance.
