JRW - Model Wilclear Plus -Fermentable Blend Containing Lactate
Wilclear Plus is 61% fermentable blend containing lactate and other fermentable materials and water-soluble nutrients including B-vitamins and yeast factors. Is designed for rapid dechlorination of chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons and reduction of certain metals and sites where sluggish microbial activity may be hindering dechlorination.
- Lactate provides carbon for the rapid establishment of anaerobic conditions
- Volatile fatty acids provide a range of materials to promote the growth of an assortment of dechlorinating microbial populations.
- Accelerite nutrient blend provides growth factors to increase dechlorination kinetics and donor efficiency.
- Store unopened under dry conditions at temperatures between 35°F and 85°F.
- Shelf life of unopened product is 1 year
- Diluted product should be used within 5 days to avoid microbial growth and activity which may cause gas buildups in containers and visible growth which may foul equipment.
- Following injection of material, wells should be flushed with clean water to prevent microbial growth.
- Equipment decontamination should follow site specific requirements.

The substrates provided include highly soluble materials such as WILCLEAR® sodium and potassium lactate, SoluLac® ethyl lactate, and Wilke Whey® whey powder and slowly soluble substrates including LactOil® soy micro-emulsion, and ChitoRem® chitin complex.
