The pump body, impellor, lower bearing/seal housing and motor top cover are manufactured from robust cast iron, while the motor shaft and casing are made from stainless steel.  The submersible sewage pumps also feature twin carbon ceramic and silicon carbide mechanical seals in a lubricated chamber which provide a long life and reliable pump operation.
