Kamps - Automatic Brushing Fine Water Screens
From Water Treatment Equipment
KAMPS sells a range of screens witch remove solids and fibers with from municipal and industrial waste-water. The use of these screens is extremely simple, and they present three major advantages : continuous operation, a very low energy consumption and nearly no need for washing water. Therefore, screens are the best equipment for the protection of membrane bioreactors systems (MBR). In smaller stations, screens are also used in many pretreatment configurations. Other applications are possible for activated sludge, in front of water intakes in channels or in the industry (slaughterhouses, textiles, alimentary).
Product Details
The screens are robust, low-maintenance machines consisting essentially of a frame structure into which perforated screen plates of a specific radius are bolted. The raw waste-water is fed onto the stainless steel perforated screen plate at the front via a connecting flange. The solids are retained at a particle size depending on the perforation gauge, while the cleaned water flows downward trough the plate. The rotating brushes reliably clean the perforated screen plate, while conveying the solids into the screenings discharge.
