CMO Valves - Model AB Series -Knife Gate Valves for Industrial Applications

The Knife Gate Valve by CMO Valves is specifically designed for industrial applications, offering bidirectional flow capabilities with a one-piece cast body and an integrated seat. The valve features a stainless steel knife gate, allowing for high flow rates with minimal load losses. It is constructed to prevent solid build-up, ensuring a flat seat devoid of internal cavities. This valve is suitable for liquids carrying up to 4% suspended solids and is optimal for sectors such as pulp and paper, dams and hydrological projects, food, chemical, and water treatment industries. Available in sizes ranging from DN50 to DN600, with additional sizes on request, it adheres to CMO`s standard face-to-face distance and operates effectively under specified pressures in either direction. The valve`s design ensures compliance with applicable European directives, making it robust and reliable for rigorous usage.

Bidirectional knife gate valve

– Bidirectional valve with one-piece cast body and seat inserted in valve. Its design provides a completely flat seat with no internal cavities, preventing any build up of solids in the seal area.

Working pressures

DN 50 – DN 200 = 10 bar
DN 250 – DN 400 = 6 bar
DN 450 = 5 bar
DN 500 = 4 bar
DN 600 = 3 bar

The indicated working pressures are valid both ways.
