Konstrack - Shift Aspirating Damper
Aspirating damper for regulating and shutting aspirating air of non-explosive air mixtures. Shut-off valves (shift dampers) are an important element of suction systems. They are used for closing or regulating dust and gas flows, by installing slide dampers on the aspiration system gas lines, redistribution of dust and gas flows can be implemented in bypass system and switching of flows between different aspiration and exhaust units.
Shifter dampers perform the function of shut-off valves in suction systems. The dust and gas flow is regulated or shut off by turning the disc or flaps manually or with the help of an actuator (electric or pneumatic).
Shifter dampers are usually of flange design and are mounted directly on the aspiration system gas ducts.
Dampers size, nominal bore and cross-section are selected according to the size and shape of aspiration system gas ducts.
Shut-off valves are designed to regulate and shut off the aspiration air of non-explosive air mixtures, which aggressiveness to the carbon steel of ordinary quality is not higher than the aggressiveness of the air with a temperature up to 150 degrees Celsius, does not contain sticky and fibrous substances, with a content of solid dust particles not exceeding 10 g/m3. It is used in aspiration systems with working pressure up to 4000Pa.
