Sluice gates have proven themselves when installed under the hoppers of cyclones, battery cyclones, bag filters and electrostatic precipitators. It is not recommended to install them on sticky dusts.

The sluice gate consists of a body, a cell rotor, body covers and a gearmotor.

The material to be moved fills the top cells of the rotor through the upper spigot of the housing.

As the rotor rotates, the filled cells move downward and the material is removed through the bottom spigot. The capacity of the sluice gate depends on the volume of the cells and the
