Landini - Model CMS series - Surface Pump
From Typology - Surface Pumps for Power Take-Off
OF THE CMS SERIES This range of progressive size pumps includes the single-impeller units with low, medium and high head CU series , and the two-stage units for high pressures of the CMS series . By means of a cardan shaft, they are coupled to the power take-offs of standardized tractors at 540 or 1000 rpm, while the lower part of the multiplier box, suitably shaped, acts as an anchoring base for the pump itself. The applications take place on a tubular trolley with two wheels or on a base equipped with a three-point attachment.

Surface pumps for power take-off
Centrifugal pumps that can be coupled to tractors by means of slow power take-off (540-1000 rpm).
Two-stage hydraulics.
Uses and limits of use:
Irrigation service by means of tractors or lifting of water by means of different driving forces such as tankers. According to the materials of normal use, the pumps are suitable for lifting fresh water, which is chemically and mechanically non-aggressive.
Max water temperature 80 °.
Maximum water hardness: 40 g / m3.
A long-tested water circulation cooling system keeps the multiplier at the right operating temperature even in continuous working conditions, and in the presence of very high ambient temperatures.
CONSTRUCTION FEATURES:
The hydraulic part and the multiplier box are made of fine-grained gray cast iron. Inside the multiplier box, four suitably chosen and sized bearings support a pair of helical toothed gears and a power take-off shaft made of case-hardened and tempered Ni-Cr alloy steel. In correspondence with the gland packing, the pinion shaft is protected by an easily replaceable hard chrome-coated brass bushing. The centrifugal impellers are dynamically balanced. In the two-stage pumps, the intermediate diffusers with guide blades and the volute delivery body are fitted with easily replaceable sealing rings at each impeller, while the pinion shaft is guided by a support with bushing located in the suction cover.
LIMITS OF USE:
According to the materials normally used in production, CU / CMS pumps are suitable for lifting fresh water, which is chemically and mechanically non-aggressive. - Maximum water temperature: 80 ° C. - Maximum water hardness: 40 g / m³.
Drive exclusively by means of a cardan shaft.
Application on two-wheeled tubular trolley.
Application on base with three-point attachment.
