Empas - Model MCP -Landscape Contractors
The MCP has been specially developed for weed control by landscape contractors. The powerful MCP is superbly suited for use in public areas. The combination with an articulated implement carrier provides ultimate flexibility. The MCP is also suitable for application around poles and traffic gantries. The combination of applicator hood and handset make the hot water unit the perfect partner for weed control and cleaning. Small in size, but big in performance.
Empas supplies the MCP as a top mounted attachment unit. This unit can be mounted on various implement carriers. The implement carrier’s hydraulic PTO provides the drive for the top mounted attachment unit. This top mounted attachment unit can easily be tilted (if so equipped), so the implement carrier remains easily accessible. The MCP is suitable for a wide range of applications. Thanks to the swap unit, the implement carrier can also be used for other purposes, such as ice management and leaf blowing. These quick-change options make your implement carrier very cost-effective.
The top mounted attachment unit has a 550-, 750- or 900-litre water tank. The size of the tank depends on the load capacity of the implement carrier. The filling pump and the filter system make it possible to fill the tank with surface water within minutes. The top mounted attachment unit is also fitted with a hydraulically driven plunger pump, which is switched on by the vehicle`s PTO. Especially for smaller and difficult to reach areas, the MCP has a spring-retractable rel with a 20-metre long hose and a spray gun with lance and watering head.
The 140 cm wide applicator hood can shift 25 cm to the left and right. Burner boilers heat up the water in the MCP to a working temperature of 102 °C. Thanks to heat exchange, less energy is needed for heating the water. The maximum pressure of the MCP is 120 bar, for cleaning.

The MCP is easy to maintain. Two large doors at the side and rear give access to the spacious technical compartment. Empas builds the system from standard components and parts for easy service and maintenance.
