Our Laser-Welded Clamp Together Ducting (CTD) uses a gasketed, over-center clamp that seals the rolled lip on the end of ALL clamp-fitting ductwork components. The system is infinitely adjustable with adjustment capability built into EVERY fitting. While Clamp Together Duct is often the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to address dust/mist collection, it is often best used in conjunction with other connection methods as dictated by the application, or duct size. US Duct`s Clamp Together system utilizes a rolled lip that is formed on the end of all parts. The lips (think a small version of a 55-gallon barrel) of the mating parts are joined together with a gasketed, over-center clamp. The clamp pulls the ends together and envelopes them inside the sealing gasket. ALL parts and special hoods are available with rolled lips.
The system is available in galvanized and SS material. Standard gauges range from 18-24 gauge with the rolled lip formed directly onto the pipe — as an integral part of the pipe. The system is also available in gauges up to 10 gauge. In this configuration, a separate collar is used at the end of the pipe and fitted to the pipe the same as if it were a fitting.
Using the combination of a separate 11" long adjustable sleeve and/or the integral adjustable collar on each fitting, the US Duct Clamp Together system is infinitely adjustable. This feature along with the clamp enables the novice or the professional to reduce installation time by 70%.

Optional grounding brackets, welded to the clamp, are available for added conductivity assurance. Our grounding bracket is spot-welded to the clamp and holds two spring-loaded bolts against the metal surface of the duct to provide excellent conductivity throughout the system.

The heart of the clamp together system is the ability to cut the pipe and incorporate either an 11” adjustable sleeve or a standard fitting to receive that cut end of the pipe. Once the pipe is slid into the sleeve or the fitting to create the length needed, the standard clamp secures the pipe to the rolled lip of the sleeve or fitting by clamping it an O-ring.
