Leif-Koch - Model PermaLog + -Noise Logger
PermaLog + for leak detection combines the best of the past with the best of the present. The model`s design and functions have been chosen based on decades of experience, and the real needs encountered as a supply in connection with leak detection. At the same time, the technology in the instrument is state-of-the-art, and will satisfy even the professional leakage operator.
PermaLog + is a noise logger. That is, it detects sound waves directly from the wiring network, whereupon it transmits the data to an FTP server, where they are interpreted and translated by algorithms based on decades of experience. The logger has a noise reduction function, and can thereby distinguish between, for example, traffic noise and leakage noise. Nevertheless, we recommend that the measurements be made at night, which can be set to through configuration. We like to configure, but have in our range a `Patroller` that is designed for the purpose, and developed with ease of use in mind.

Movable and stationary measurements
For stationary measurement, it is important that the entire wiring harness is covered to avoid blind spots. We recommend this method because it ensures a stable and reliable data collection, and provides the shortest time from the leak occurs until one can take action. One can also choose the solution of installing loggers on parts of the wiring, and moving them around at regular intervals. However, this requires both time and effort, and the danger of the leak occurring during a time when the logger is elsewhere on the wiring network will be present. Which method of progress you choose depends on the wiring and the individual needs of the owner. We are always ready with advice and guidance for your specific situation.
