Nickel 200 is manufactured with commercial pure wrought nickel. The Nickel 200 Pipe possesses superior corrosion and oxidation resistance properties due to the higher content of nickel embedded in this grade. A Nickel Alloy Pipe has outstanding resistance against caustic alkalis in a range of pressures and temperatures.
Designed possessing enhanced magnetic and magnetostrictive properties, the Alloy 200 Pipe has moderate levels of thermal and electrical conductivity in the system. These pipes possess superior hardness and have a low vapor pressure. Nickel Alloy 200 Exhaust Pipe is designed to withstand high-temperature and exhaust gases from vehicular discharge. The versatile Nickel Alloy Tubes possess superior mechanical and thermal properties. These tubes possess a tensile strength of 67000psi with a yield strength of 21500psi. The Nickel 200 Tube can be readily elongated by 45%. This versatile grade of tubes can be hardened by hot as well as cold working practices.
The Nickel 200 Tubing or pipe grades are generally designed in seamless, welded, and ERW specifications. Each of these types has specific functions that influence them in the long haul. A Nickel 200 Seamless Tube is the strongest type of component in this range. Designed by passing hot steel billets through an extruded metal, the tubes have nearly 20% extra load-bearing capacity than other types of components in this range. A Nickel 200 Welded Pipe is an excellent alternative to seamless pipes. These pipes have a lower load-bearing capacity but can transport fluids and gases efficiently. The low-cost pipe grade is designed by welding pieces of strip or sheet in place to effectively form a strong module. The Nickel 200 ERW Pipes are produced by a cold forming a flat strip of steel into rounded cross-sections. The strip is passed through a series of rollers to obtain a longitudinal seam weld without requiring any filler metal.
