LG - Model 310 -Stainless Steel Pipe
Grade 310 pipe is a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel grade. 310 Stainless Steel Pipe is designed with a superior chemical concentration of 24 to 26% chromium, 19 to 22% of nickel, and 0.75% molybdenum. This gives these pipes enhanced corrosion and oxidation resistance properties across stress-induced setups. A Stainless Steel 310 Pipe can work well in temperatures of above 2000 degrees F. These pipes also have outstanding hardness in cryogenic temperatures up to -450 degrees F.
The non-magnetic SS 310 Pipe showcases resistance to hot corrosion and can be machined easily. They can be welded readily in place following standard welding procedures. The versatile 310 Stainless Steel Tube is designed with excellent mechanical properties. These tubes possess a minimum tensile strength of 520mpa with a minimum yield strength of 205mpa. They can be readily elongated by a minimum of 40% and still possess good workability. 310 SS Tubing has a hardness of 225HV max. This tubing exhibits a density of 8.0 kg/m3 with a modulus of elasticity of 200gpa at 20 degrees C.
The pipes in the SS310 grade are commonly designed in seamless and welded configurations. A SS 310 Seamless Pipe is produced by passing hot steel billets through metal and shaping them in correct dimensions. These pipes possess no welds or seams while having outstanding strength and load-bearing capacity in the system. The SS 310 Welded Pipe has a lower-load bearing capacity than a seamless pipe. Designed by welding pieces of sheets or strips in place these pipes are preferred in low-pressure systems. A welded pipe is cheaper to manufacture and purchase than a seamless pipe grade. The grade of ASTM A312 TP310 has good resistance to carburizing environments. The modules in this range can be shaped in different sizes and dimensions to meet specific requirements.
