LiORA - Soil Sensor
FromLiORA
Monitors petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC) concentrations and soil gas conditions underground, continuously and automatically. Replaces or supplements periodic groundwater sampling — delivering real-time data on plume stability and remediation performance without repeated field visits. Real time sensor data routinely updates natural source zone depletion (NSZD) for improved risk assessment. Most popular related searches

- What It Measures: LiORA Soil Sensor measures CO₂, O₂, CH₄, total hydrocarbons from EC2-EC12, including BTEX, temperature, pressure, and relative humidity.
- How It Measures: Uses non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) to detect hydrocarbons and gases in the soil. The multi-channel design distinguishes between different types of hydrocarbons, reducing measurement interference and improving accuracy.
- Data & Security: Data is measured, transferred, and securely transmitted every 30 minutes via long-range wireless (LoRaWAN) and stored both on device and cloud platform.
- Detection Performance: PHC range: 0–900 mg/kg | Resolution: 0.01 mg/kg
- How It’s Installed: Sensors can be readily deployed in drywells, including within existing 2” (or greater) monitoring wells.
