Bleu Line - Model Aquatain AMF 1l -Liquid Containing Silicone for Mosquito Control
Aquatain AMF is a unique product, new generation for the control of mosquito larvae, “eco-friendly” and environmentally friendly. Aquatain AMF is a silicone-based liquid product easily applicable on the surface of the stagnant and still water; it forms a very thin film on the aquatic surface that covers in its entirety. It acts by physicomechanical action, with a persistence and effectiveness of at least 4 weeks. In accordance with current regulations, Aquatain AMF is not dangerous to health and has no adverse effects on the aquatic environment. The product is guaranteed by the manufacturer as suitable exclusively for the control of mosquitoes. Do not use for other uses. The presence of PDMS does not change water values such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, hardness, ammonia and nitrogen compounds.
In particular, dissolved oxygen values fall within the parameters acceptable for the survival of aquatic flora and fauna. Tests conducted by certifying bodies, have established that the PDMS can be used in drinking water. It does not create resistance phenomena.
SCOPE: Aquatain AMFTM is suitable for use in still and stagnant waters: lakes, reservoirs, rice fields, sewers, posters, manholes, drainage channels, water tanks, saucers, dry tanks, septic tanks, tires, gutters, etc.
DOSES AND MODE OF USE: Aquatain AMF has an action exclusively of a physical-mechanical type. The thin silicone film, which is formed on the surface of the water following application, prevents the proper development of the immature stages of mosquitoes (larvae and pupae). It does not allow larvae and pupae the correct intake of atmospheric oxygen necessary for their development at adult stage, leading to the consequent suffocation. In fact, it prevents larvae and pupae from attaching to the surface of the water to draw from the air the atmospheric oxygen needed to survive.
