Series 1000 Low Leakage, Airfoil Control Damper:

Modulating or two-position control dampers are required:

  • Where maintenance-free operation is ideal
  • Where linkage failure is an issue
  • Where worn out common dampers require replacement
  • Standard blade depth is 6” (152 mm).

Options are available for the airfoil control damper (Series 1000) which can be upgraded to the following options to suit a wider range of applications:

ET – Elevated Temperature Option:

  • Blade and frame seals are upgraded to extruded silicone.
  • For operation in temperatures as high as 300°F (149°C)
  • Bronze-oilite bearings replace Celcon and polycarbonate bearings.

MR – Moisture Resistance Option:

  • Stainless steel hardware replaces zinc-plated components.

SW – Salt Water Resistance Option:

  • Extruded aluminum frames, blades and hardware are clear anodized to a depth of 0.7 mil. (18 microns).
  • Blade and frame seals are extruded silicone.
  • All zinc-plated, steel hardware is replaced with stainless steel, protecting hardware from rust and corrosion.

SP – Standard profile

  • Manufactured with 4” (101.6 mm) deep frames
  • Manufactured with blades that are a maximum 6” (152.4 mm) deep.

NP – Narrow Profile

  • Manufactured with 4” (101.6 mm) deep frames
  • Manufactured with blades that are a maximum of 4” (101.6 mm) deep.
  • Space saving narrow profile is ideal for space restrictive installations.

WP – Wide Profile

  • Manufactured with 6.5” (165.1 mm) deep frames
  • Manufactured with blades that are a maximum of 6” (152.4 mm) deep.
