Lukas - Model DUO -Traversing Unit
The LUKAS DUO shifting unit enables you to carry out the complete work process from a safe distance without manual repositioning, even with heavy loads. A locking pin is integrated into the DUO shifting unit as a counter support so that you can work outside the danger zone at all times when shifting. This is operated from the control table when locking or unlocking. This safe mode of operation allows you to move in both directions over longer distances. For you this means: time saving and safe working, as the laborious moving of the counter support is no longer necessary.
The DUO shifting unit and the roller carriage are equipped with lateral guides to ensure that the bridge runs straight. When the load is shifted, integrated sliding plates compensate for the curved movement of the rail vehicles to be moved. To ensure optimum stability without tilting of the cylinders, LUKAS uses a 350 mm wide rerailing bridge and rolling carriages with Teflon-coated sliding plates. This saves you tiresome and time-consuming repositioning.
