Lumencor - Model CORE -illumination and Detection Module
The CORE is an illumination and detection module for automated spatially-resolved multicolor fluorescence excitation and detection. The design and engineering approach embodied in the CORE streamlines development time and cost for new instruments, improves instrument performance and delivers cost savings to both end users and high-volume manufacturers.
Leveraging our optical design expertise and proprietary solid state illumination technologies, the CORE is an integrated optical subsystem for high-throughput spatially-resolved multicolor fluorescence detection. It consists of a color-selective solid-state Light Engine, filters, objective z-control mechanism, field diaphragm, collimating lens, multiband dichroic, emission filters, objective and tube lens and CCD camera, all precisely aligned on a common support structure. The CORE provides instrument manufacturers with a customizable, self-contained module for multicolor fluorescence imaging that integrates seamlessly into microplate readers, array scanners and other bioanalytical devices.
