The MPC-100 is a low power signal conditioner that can be used with typical 12VDC supplies and be DIN rail mounted with equipment.Designed for use in harsh places, the MPC-100 is Class 1 Div 2 approved. The module has reverse supply protection and is to be used with 24 VDC 100mA max transient protected power.The MPC-100 automatically converts the input wave to a rail-to-rail amplified square output for a wide input frequency and voltage range to condition your signal for accurate counting. Meter outputs can typically be too weak to drive a data logger or PLC input, which can lead to lost data.Signal conditioners are also sometimes referred to as signal amplifiers, isolation amplifiers, signal transmitters, ground loop isolators, 4-20ma converters, 4-20ma signal isolators or 4-20ma loop isolators.
