Malmberg - Bottom Aeration System

Malmberg Bottom Aeration System has been carefully planned, from design to installation. The system solution minimizes energy costs by lowest possible pressure losses, optimized oxygen control and a high aeration capacity.

The aeration system is made of membrane diffusers, tube diffusers or vertical diffusers. The diffusers have a body of fibreglass reinforced plastic and a perforated membrane of rubber, specially designed to resist aggressive environments. The membrane is very easy to replace.

The small perforations in the rubber membrane ensure fine-sized bubbles, which in return ensure effective aeration. The Malmberg system fulfils customer requirements, using simplified piping systems to reduce investment costs, while high efficiency and reliability mean significantly reduced operation costs.
