The inclusion in the Special Register of Historic Brands and of National Interest (art. 185 bis of Legislative Decree 30/2005) gives the right value to the company by including it among those that, going beyond the purely economic aspect, have contributed, with their history and their connection with the territory, to national development.

With the partner and sole director Cristiano Cirino Pomicino, the company has consolidated the continuous growth that has characterized it since 1974, the year in which the current legal-corporate form of joint stock company was established, projecting it even more strongly into the national and international panorama as a leader in the production of cast iron products.

COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULES

Since 1998, MCP SPA ^{® has operated under a quality regime by applying a company management system compliant with the ISO 9001 standard.}

The independent third party body Icim Spa – Industrial Certification Institute for Mechanics – certified in the same year the conformity of the quality management system to the reference legislation for the following activities:

“ Design and production of crowning and closing devices for circulation areas ( manholes and drains ) in grey and spheroidal cast iron. Design and production of crowning, closing and drainage devices, of fittings in cast iron, of elements for the linear flow of water in fusion castings, galvanized steel and polymer concrete. ”

Also in 1998, the third party body, having ascertained compliance with the requirements set by the relevant European standard, certified the first batches of spheroidal cast iron products in compliance with the EN124 standard.

Over time, the company`s design and production activities have diversified, expanding with new models of CE-marked products in compliance with the EN1433 standard and certified by the relevant third-party body.

The know-how acquired in the sector has led MCP SPA ^® to participate, as a technical member, in the CEN (European Committee for Standardization) for the drafting and updating of the EN124 product standards.

Furthermore, the company has been indicated by UNI, as a member, as a technical expert in the composition of the technical committees aimed at revising EN1433.

The design and production capabilities have been fully expressed over the years with the release of several patents for the innovative solutions introduced in a market of which MCP SPA ^® holds the largest share at a national level.

INDICATORS

A production of over 450,000 tons of products designed by the internal research and development office has been verified, in addition to its own production units and the company laboratory, by numerous external inspectors, by leading utilities , by prestigious Italian universities and by independent third-party Italian and European certification bodies.

A turnover of over €500,000,000.00 in goods, achieved with a continuous and constant growth trend over the last decade, are the numbers that best represent the notable design, production and commercial capabilities of MCP SPA ^® in recent years.

The Customs and Monopolies Agency has awarded ^® MCP SPA the status of Authorized Economic Operator – AEO , certifying a “license” of reliability and solvency of the company towards the Community Customs Authorities and reserving for it benefits such as greater speed in shipments and better relations with the institution.
