The J-Type Manual Screen is an effective screening solution designed for the preliminary stage of wastewater treatment. It efficiently removes large waste and debris such as wooden logs, rags, and other large materials that mechanical screens may not handle as such large waste could damage the rakes or cause dislodging of chain. This manual screen ensures smooth downstream wastewater treatment processes by preventing clogging and protecting pumps & equipment. J Type Screen are ideal in applications with deep channel where manual cleaning may be difficult or dangerous. It is ideal for raw sewage at pumping stations.
The J Type Manual Screen operate on a simple yet effective design. The J type screens use stainless steel bar at the screening medium with perforated tray fixed at the bottom. Bottom tray ensures that waste does not fall, during lifting of the screen. Solid waste of size more than the bar spacing is screened, lifted and removed manually outside the channel using a hoist. The screening medium is fitted in a SS channel with rollers for low friction and easy up and down movement. The design of the screen allows convenient operation, reduces downtime and ensures proper functioning of further treatment.
