When it comes to filtration, our team of experts has years of. Water cleaning must be handled with respect, since this life-source is too valuable to treat any differently. The reason for interference must be clear, why do you connect a filter? Optimal bio-filtration is achieved when the filter medium perfectly combines the two most critical criteria. First is an adequate water flow, second is a high surface area for bacteria to grow. Our PET fibre monofilament is curled to create thousands of micro-springs in the mats. These strong mats hardly deteriorate at all over time and create an excellent environment for growing bacteria.

Mats: We produce filter mats with different specifications to create the perfect bio-climate. Matsumi Filter Mats are easy to cut, fit and clean and can be used in many types of filtration units.

Brushes: Besides filter matting, our PET-fibres are turned into Matsumi filter brushes. These brushes are mostly used as mechanical medium in high-volume filtration units as multi-chambers.

By introducing the Matsumi filter range, Enkev reaffirms its role as global leader in filter materials for the aquatic scene. Other industries we serve are agri- & horticulture, landscaping, zoos, road-build, construction, health & care etc. If you are looking for a solution to your problem, we are ready for the challenge.
PET
Polyester is any of a group of widely used plastics materials. The most important polyester, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), can be spun into fibre, extruded (pushed through an opening) to make film, or combined with other materials and moulded into plastic parts. PET is a thermoplastic--that is, it softens and melts at high temperatures. PET fibre is one of the most widely produced synthetic fibres. It appears in such products as tyre cords and clothing. It is strong and flexible, and it resists wrinkling and mildew. Much PET fibre is sold under the name Dacron, a registered trademark of the DuPont Company. Uses of PET film include magnetic tapes and shrink wrap. PET is also used to make plastic soft drink bottles, which, like PET film, are clear and tough, and resist water and chemicals.
Rubberising
The spun natural fibres are shaped into a fleece and sprayed with latex as part of the production process. The latex binds the curled fibres which are then pressed and vulcanised in several layers into resilient Hairlok® and Cocolok® sheets.

This process leads to sheets with a very open and resilient structure Sheets like this provide a good micro climate. On top of that it has good shock absorbing properties. This is good for insulation, mattresses, furniture, car seats, filters, packaging etc. The structure also absorbs sounds and certain waves. So it also makes a good insulation product. Both thermal as accoustical.
