Each ThermistorString-NTC3K consists of 3 sections:
- Cable with up to 19 temperature sensors (thermistors) positioned along its length at user-specified intervals
- Lead wire – section of cable between the last node (temperature sensor location) and the termination point/free end
- Free end – supplied with bare wires (if the client intends to connect the thermistor wire to a data logger) or a client-specified connector
The MDT ThermistorString-NTC3K is ideally suited to the task of ground temperature monitoring in underground mines.
