Promed - Model P150 -Medical Waste Sterilizer System
The Promed P150 is a medical waste sterilization system designed specifically for clinics and small hospitals with a capacity of 33-70 kg per hour. The system incorporates a microwave-induced odor control system, a robust sterilization process, and an automatic elevator for convenient loading. It features a PLC-controlled shredder capable of grinding hard materials including surgical stainless steel instruments and ceramics. The system utilizes saturated steam to heat the waste to temperatures between 134°C and 138°C, effectively reducing pathogenic contamination by an 8 Log 10 value. The cooling phase uses cold air to lower the temperature of the sterilized waste, and the condensed sterile water is safely discharged. The Promed P150 also adheres to rigorous certifications by TUV Austria and conforms to EU Directives and Norms.
