AVK - Model DN50-300 -Metal Seated Gate Valve for Flow Isolation
The AVK metal seated wedge gate valve, compliant with BSEN1074-2/BS5163-1 standards, is designed to regulate the flow isolation in pipelines or equipment. It is suitable for drinking water and neutral liquids up to a maximum temperature of 70°C. Constructed with a ductile iron gate and bronze rings, the valve ensures a watertight seal. The non-rising stem design maintains lubrication of the stem thread through water passing within, enhancing valve longevity. This valve aims to provide a reliable sealing mechanism and efficiency in various water supply networks.

AVK metal seated wedge gate valves are primarily designed for the flow isolation of a length of pipeline or piece of equipment. It uses a ductile iron gate that houses bronze rings to ensure a watertight seal. The non-rising stem design ensures the stem thread is adequately lubricated by the water passing through the valve. In essence, the whole internals are water dependent for lubrication, a factor that safeguards the longevity of the valve.
