AVK - Model 37/51-001 -Metal Seated Gate Valve with ISO Flange PN16 CTC
The AVK metal seated gate valve with ISO flange PN16 is designed for flow isolation in pipelines and equipment handling drinking water and neutral liquids with temperatures up to 70°C. The valve features a ductile iron gate with bronze rings that ensure a watertight seal. Its non-rising stem design ensures the stem thread remains lubricated by the passing water, enhancing the valve's longevity. The valve includes a bronze wedge nut for optimal compatibility with the stem and a machined face ring for a tight seal with the body seat ring. Other features include guides for uniform closure, a large bore to prevent stagnant water and impurities, an EPDM bonnet gasket, and countersunk stainless steel bonnet bolts. The internal and external surfaces are coated with blue two-pack epoxy, and the valve is suitable for both horizontal and vertical installations.

AVK metal seated wedge gate valves are primarily designed for the flow isolation of a length of pipeline or piece of equipment. It uses a ductile iron gate that houses bronze rings to ensure a watertight seal. The non-rising stem design ensures the stem thread is adequately lubricated by the water passing through the valve. In essence, the whole internals are water dependent for lubrication, a factor that safeguards the longevity of the valve.
