Micet - Cetane Number Improver
TheMicet Cetane Index Improver seeks toincrease the performance of diesel enginesand reduce their environmental effects, through faster and more efficient ignition, whilereducing pollutant gases emissions.
Through our investment in the CETPROcompany, at MAXAM we have been developing solutions for more than 20 years to improve the quality of fumes produced by diesel engines. With the Micet™ cetane index improver (2-Ethyl Hexyl Nitrate), we have achieved a faster ignition at lower temperatures, so that we reduce the NOx (nitrogen oxide) of the gases produced through the use of diesel. That is, we improve the quality of our air to comply with the strictest environmental standards. Similarly, the improver contributes substantially to reducing fuel consumption.
