MiniG - Model SP 1600 -High Throughput Homogenizers
High throughput homogenizers have helped to break the bottleneck of sample processing in the age of genomics and proteomics. The Geno/Grinder® cleared the path for biochemical isolations from all types of tissues. Many labs, however, require more than a simple bead beater yet don`t need the capacity of the GenoGrinder®. The 1600 MiniG® was developed to fill this gap.

The 1600 MiniG™ is a robust, cost-efficient alternative to the Geno/Grinder®, offering similar functionality at half the capacity.
- Automated mechanical disruption through bead beating, ideal for high-throughput homogenization.
- Vigorous linear shaking of deep-well titer plates, vial sets, and centrifuge tubes in a vertical motion for consistent processing.
- Adjustable clamp accommodates a full range of sample vials from 2mL (x48), 4mL (x48), 15 mL (x10) to 50mL (x5) self-standing vials, or up to two deep-well titer plates (*optional stacking tray required). Also accommodates conical bottom centrifuge tubes.
- Typical sample processing time of 1-2 minutes.
- Optional Cryo-Blocks enable cryogenic grinding and preserve temperature sensitive samples for RNA and protein extractions.
- Can be used for a wide variety of sample types, including cell cultures, cannabis, yeast, bacteria, fungi, animal tissue, plants, seeds, biofuels, etc.
