The aerated floor is used inside biocells, maturing areas and biofilters to accelerate the maturation process of waste (compost) or, in the case of biofilters, it allows odorous air to pass through the biomass matrix for filtering. The aerated floor offers the advantage that trucks can drive across it to position and remove material.

The aerated floor allows air to be blown into the biocells, maturation areas and biofilters to enable the positioning and removal of material by means of trucks.

The aerated floor consists of:

round piping for aeration of the biotunnel;
PVC components for the end connection of the piping to discharge the leachate consisting of: T connection and caps, screw caps for cleaning the transverse line;
C-profile galvanised sheet metal to protect the spigots when casting the concrete floor (not supplied);
anchoring collars and dowels, galvanised channels, polystyrene and screws, ties and any other components necessary for the correct assembly.
