. It is with deep sadness that we inform all our friends and business associates that on May 20, 2023, Matthew John Galanek passed away at the age of 62. Matthew is survived by his wife, Juliet Galanek of Grand Saline; two brothers, one sister; and many other relatives and friends.

He was born May 1, 1961, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Stephen & Janice Kabachus Galanek. Matt lived in Massachusetts and Hawaii before moving to Grand Saline ten years ago. He owned and operated Jet of Texas (Patio Covers) and Global Odor Control of Hawaii. Matt enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing, and collecting cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen & Janice Galanek.

GOC Technologies will continue on per Matt’s plans. We remain committed to serving our current and future customers.

A memorial service for Matthew Galanek is scheduled for a later date.
