Komptech Cribus - Model 2800 -Mobile Drum Screen
With the largest screening surface for its overall length, the Cribus 2800 sets the standard in the compact class. Its large-diameter drum improves screening performance, and generous spacing between drum and side walls ensures trouble-free screening even for coarse sizes. This opens up a wide range of applications, where the Cribus shines thanks to its easy operation and high economy. One reason is the future-oriented drive system: Everything on the Cribus is driven electrically, from the hopper to the discharge belts. Performance: Diesel generator with 50 kVA (option). Throughput: up to 175 m³/h. Screening area: 28 m². Mobility: 2-axle trailer or semi-trailer.

Despite being only 10.6 meters long, the Cribus 2800 boasts a screening area of 28m², the largest in its class. It’s made possible by the large 2.2 meter drum diameter. This makes material clumping between hopper and drum a thing of the past, so that the Cribus has a higher specific throughput than competitors.

Its low-wear friction wheel drum drive, an efficient corrugated edge discharge conveyor for fines, electric drive of all components and much more make the Cribus very nearly unbeatable in operating costs.
Drum Change in 5 Minutes
Just fold down the sidewall, and the drum is freely accessible. To change the drum, the operator needs only run the hopper out of the drum, press a button to raise the drum, and then remove it with a fork loader or hoist. Pros can do it in just a few minutes.
Mobility the Way You Want it
The Cribus 2800 is now available in semitrailer configuration. The axle at the rear puts more weight on the rear axle of the truck, making for stabler handling.
