metroSTOR - Model PSM -Mobility Scooter Storage & Charging Units

Manufactured in 3 product versions; metroSTOR PSMN is a 1050mm width module for class 1/2 mobility scooters where site conditions are very restrictive on space. metroSTOR PSM is our standard unit with a 1250mm module that accommodates all classes of mobility scooter. For those applications where users require additional space either for access and egress or a non-standard mobility scooter, metroSTOR PSMX provides a 1600mm module width. All metroSTOR products can be specified with doors left or right-handed to suit narrow access paths.

metroSTOR base plate fixing and plinth flashings enable units to be professionally installed in the often restricted space and uneven terrain of residential grounds, with greater cost efficiency than a rigid base product requiring extensive enabling groundworks.

With fire safety a central consideration when charging mobility scooters in storage, metroSTOR PSM can be specified with a number of fire retardant cladding options in accordance with fire risk assessments where the unit will be sited close to residential buildings. Our Fireboard MgO internal liner option with either HDPE 100% recycled plastic or coated steel panel outer cladding provides Euro-class A1, UK class 0 reaction to fire and are panels manufactured from materials of limited combustibility throughout to provide 30 minutes fire resistance as BS 476.
