The baler was originally in operation in an incineration plant as a so-called revision baler for only 6 - 8 weeks per year. Whenever the incinerator was undergoing inspection (repair and maintenance), the material to be incinerated was pressed into bales with the BOA baler, then stretched with foil and stored outdoors until winter. The press was only in operation for these maintenance periods, hence the extremely low operating hours.

2018: All hydraulic cylinders were dismantled, disassembled and the seal sets renewed, some of the cylinders were also overhauled.

2020: The old PLC control system was replaced with a completely new Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 control system.

2023: The CPU of the control was renewed and in April 2023 the last maintenance was carried out on the press.

After the overhaul and renewed commissioning at a medium-sized waste disposal company for paper, cardboard and films, the press will now be replaced by a larger machine on 22.09.23 after a further approx. 3 years of use.
